Jim was born in Holyoke, MA. His family moved back to NH when he was three years old. Jim has lived in Groveton, NH for most of his life except for three years of active duty in the Army and four years in Berlin when he was a full time EMT for Berlin Ambulance. Jim has been a financial consultant for over 40 years—21 years with former Northway Bank in Berlin, NH.
Jim has been married for over 45 years, and has two children, Mandy and Daegan, who both live in NY along with four grandchildren. The only child home now is “Millie” our Boarder Collie/Aussie Cattle Dog mix.
Jim has experienced, along with all the residents of the northern NH communities he serves, a great change and challenge in the way of life when three major paper mills closed within three years. He has been there in the best of times and the worst of times and with proper planning and commitment, he believes you can weather the storm.
